Team Valvoline : 150th Anniversary

Big time company with a big time truck, Team Valvoline takes to the desert as they have chosen long time professional drift drivers to tackle the grueling Baja 1000. This year is special as it marks the 150th year of Valvoline providing top notch lubricants so they decided to celebrate by building a second truck to enter the race dubbed “El Artico.” The two first generation Dodge Ram’s will be running custom built 5.9L Cummins racing engines, Bilstein shock absorbers and last but definitely not least, our 35″ XPR Long Distance Light Bar with two 4.5″ Cannons mounted on the front bumper. Though Baja rookies Forsberg, Tuerck and Team Valvoline did have the showing they had hoped for, due to mechanical issues, this legendary company will be back to fight again in the 2017 Baja 1000.
